FAQ

Picture Questions:

Q. Where are my photos?

A. You probably already know that when you want to find your music files, you follow this path: Music>iTunes>iTunes Music, and there are all the folders of all the artists in your library. iPhoto used to work the same way with your pictures, but now your original photos are hidden inside the iPhoto library. Here's how you can expose them. Go to Pictures>iPhoto Library and hold the control button while you click on the iPhoto Library. You will get a pop up window that looks like this:

Click "Show Package Contents." The package contents will open in a new window and you can find your "Originals" in there. Like this:

BackUp Questions:

Q. What do I do if I've forgotten my password?

A. If you are a Middle School student, Email Mr. Arsenault and ask him to reset it. If you are a High School student, email Mrs. Crawford or Ms. Barr. It can be done remotely so you don't have to come to the computer lab.

Q. What happened to the stuff I backed up?

A. We all share space on the server. When you log-in to the server, the only space that is secured by your password is this pre-existing folder structure:

That means you need to back-up your files into one of these folders accordingly. If it isn't inside one of these folders then it is not password protected and anyone in your grade can gain access to it. Having said that, I will remind you of the golden rule to treat other people the way you would like to be treated. Please show respect for other people's work and property by minding your own business on the server.
